SafeHouse Ministries “Then the righteous will answer him,
‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and
feed you, or thirsty and give you
something to drink? When did we see
you a stranger and invite you in, or
needing clothes and clothe you? When did
we see you sick, or in prison and go to
visit you?" The King will reply,"I tell you
the truth, whatever you did for one of the
least of these brothers of mine,
you did for me."

Nehemiah Project

We looked for a discipleship program that spoke to men and women not raised in the church. God inspired us to write a new program designed to speak to inmates and others living in life's margins. In the book of Nehemiah, the Israelites rebuilt the wall around Jerusalem. We meet once a week for 13 weeks to rebuild the walls for men and women trying to grow in Christ.

Each week we offer 5 days of scripture exploration including questions designed to reveal the subject. We also offer scenarios acted out by three individuals; one person acts as the FLESH, the second acts as the WORLD and the third acts as GOD. The goal is to get the participants to hear the 3 competing voices we face in our lives and acknowledge that God's way must be our way. Then we gather as a group to discuss the topic and the various teams' versions of the scenarios.
